Damaskos Hercules Knot 18K Gold Bracelet with Diamonds
Built around the Hercules’ Knot — an ancient Greek motif representing strength and eternal love — this 18K gold bracelet features a double hand-woven chain, sandblasted matte finish, twisted wire detailing, granulation, and two round diamonds totaling 0.14 ct. Every element is shaped by hand in the Damaskos atelier in Athens.
About The Product
The Hercules’ Knot has appeared in Greek art since antiquity — worn as protection, given as a pledge, buried with the dead. This bracelet centers that motif in 18K gold, flanked by a double hand-woven chain and finished with granulation and twisted wire work along the edges. It is not a reproduction. It is a direct continuation of a goldsmithing tradition that has never stopped.
The bracelet is sandblasted to a matte finish, a deliberate choice that softens the surface and draws attention to the relief of the knot and the texture of the granulation — tiny spheres of gold fused to the surface without solder, a technique traced back to the Etruscans and early Greeks. The twisted wire borders follow the same logic: decoration that is also structure. Two round diamonds, totaling 0.14 ct, are set within the knot. The piece is crafted in 18K gold throughout. Also available set with mineral stones in place of diamonds.
Damaskos has operated in Athens for decades, producing jewelry for museum collections and private clients who treat gold as a material record of history. This bracelet is sized for daily wear and holds its presence whether worn alone or alongside other pieces from the Damaskos collection. It is the kind of piece that does not date.
