1. About Us
These Terms govern your use of brilliantathens.com and the purchase of products from Brilliant Athens, operated by Paschalina Latrovali, Ermou 18, Athens 105 63, Greece (AFM: 03273965, ΓΕΜΗ: 184507901000).
By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and accept these Terms in full.
2. Products
We offer handcrafted gold Byzantine jewellery produced by Damaskos. All pieces are described to the best of our ability. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in texture, weight, and finish are inherent and not considered defects.
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Colour and finish may vary slightly depending on screen calibration and lighting conditions.
3. Made-to-Order Items
The majority of our jewellery is made to order. Made-to-order items are explicitly indicated on each product page and carry a production lead time of 2–3 weeks before dispatch. By placing an order for a made-to-order item you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
• The piece is crafted specifically for you following your order.
• The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply, pursuant to Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU (goods made to the consumer’s specifications).
• Cancellation is not possible once production has commenced (typically within 48 hours of order confirmation).
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of applicable Greek VAT (24%) where required. For deliveries outside the EU, VAT may not apply; any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is charged at the time of order. We use PCI DSS-compliant payment processors; no card data is stored on our servers.
5. Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders are confirmed by email. For in-stock items, dispatch occurs within 3–5 business days. For made-to-order items, dispatch follows the 2–3 week production window. Delivery timelines after dispatch depend on the shipping service selected and destination country.
We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order we are unable to fulfil, including due to pricing errors or stock discrepancies.

7. Returns & Refunds
Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy page. Important: the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order items. For in-stock items, a 14-day withdrawal right applies subject to strict condition requirements.
8. Warranties & Defects
All jewellery is covered by the statutory 2-year legal guarantee under EU consumer law (Directive 1999/44/EC, as updated by Directive 2019/771/EU). If a product is defective on delivery, contact us within 14 days at brilliantathens1@gmail.com or +30 211 117 5298 with photographs.
This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear, damage from improper use or storage, chemical exposure, unauthorised alterations, or loss.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law, Paschalina Latrovali’s total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Greek law. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first. You may also refer to the European ODR platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or the Greek Consumer Ombudsman.
If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies to that transaction.
