Overview
At Brilliant Athens we offer flexible, secure payment options to suit every customer. All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR). Payment is required in full at the time of placing your order, unless a 50/50 instalment arrangement has been agreed with us in advance (see Section 4).
1. Credit & Debit Cards (Stripe)
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, processed securely via Stripe — a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card details are encrypted end-to-end and are never stored on our servers.
Payment is charged in full at the time of order confirmation.
2. PayPal
You may pay securely using your PayPal account or as a guest via PayPal’s card processing. Select PayPal at checkout and follow the on-screen instructions. Payment is processed immediately upon order confirmation.
3. Bank Transfer
We accept direct bank transfers to the following account:

Important — bank transfer orders: Your order will be reserved but production will not begin until we have confirmed receipt of the full payment in our account. Please use your order number as the payment reference and send your proof of transfer to brilliantathens1@gmail.com immediately after completing the transfer. Orders not paid within 3 business days of placement will be automatically cancelled and the items released.
4. 50 / 50 Instalment Arrangement (By Agreement)
For customers who prefer to pay in two instalments, we offer the following arrangement upon prior agreement with our team:
• 50% of the total order value is due within 3 business days of order confirmation. Production begins once this deposit is received.
• The remaining 50% is due before dispatch of your order.
This arrangement is not available at checkout by default. To request it, please contact us at brilliantathens1@gmail.com or +30 211 117 5298 before placing your order. We will confirm the arrangement in writing.
Please note: once production begins following receipt of the initial 50% deposit on a made-to-order item, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply (see our Returns & Refund Policy). The deposit is non-refundable once production has commenced.

6. Payment Security
All online transactions are protected by SSL/TLS encryption. Card payments are processed exclusively by Stripe and PayPal — both regulated financial service providers operating under EU and international compliance frameworks. We do not have access to your full card number at any point.
7. Currency & VAT
All prices are in Euros (EUR). For orders within Greece and the EU, applicable VAT (24%) is included in the displayed price. For orders outside the EU, VAT is not charged at source; however, import duties and local taxes in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
