These drop earrings are built around an Archaic Greek silhouette — a teardrop form that draws directly from jewelry traditions documented in ancient Greek archaeological finds. Two rubies, each 1.80mm, are set into the gold in a placement that echoes decorative conventions of the period.

The earrings are handcrafted in 18K gold and finished with a sandblasted surface treatment that produces a controlled matte texture across the entire piece. Sandblasting creates a fine, uniform grain that softens the reflectivity of the gold without altering its weight or structure — the result reads as warm rather than bright. The gemstones are rubies, each measuring 1.80mm, set in a way that keeps them integral to the form rather than decorative additions.
