Where many bangles in the collection rely on a single surface treatment, this one layers four distinct techniques — martillé finishing, granulation, twisted wire detailing, and black platinum plating — across a single 18K gold form. The result is a piece with real visual weight that reads differently in different light.

The martillé technique involves hand-hammering the gold surface with a specialized tool to create a dense, matte texture that absorbs rather than reflects light — closer to velvet than to polish. Granulation, a goldsmithing method traced back to ancient Greek and Etruscan workshops, uses tiny fused gold spheres to build pattern and relief without solder. Twisted wire borders frame the mineral stone settings, which include blue topaz, citrine, peridot, and amethyst. Diamonds total 0.08 ct. The bangle weighs 15 grams and is crafted in 18K gold throughout, with black platinum applied selectively to deepen the contrast between surfaces.
